Energy Locals rated 4.5 Green Energy Stars

Energy Locals has been rated one of the greenest power companies in Australia, scoring a rating of 4.5 green energy stars out of 5 in the 2022 Greenpeace Green Electricity Guide.

We were also recognised in the Green Electricity guide as a “Great Innovator” for employing innovative models and initiatives to empower customers and local communities to take more control over their electricity generation and usage.

Some of the reasons we were awarded a high rating are because we:

• Partner with community-focused electricity providers.
• Actively support household solar.
• Oppose “CoalKeeper” subsidy for coal power stations.
• Are majority owned by Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners (a renewable energy investment fund).
