Introducing Powertracer
Energy Locals has teamed up with Enosi to offer a unique clean energy community program. Their Powertracer platform enables you to buy or trade excess solar generation with other members of the Energy Locals Powertracer community.
How it works
- Buy excess solar export from the community at rates lower than grid electricity
- Improve on your solar Feed in Tariff, sell at a price set by you or gift to family and friends
- Powertracer determines the volume of energy matched between buyers and sellers
- Any unmatched solar energy is simply sold at Energy Locals standard feed-in rate

Please note
In order to be on the Powertracer platform you’ll need to be on the Energy Locals Local Member or Business Member plan and have a smart meter (we can arrange installation for $149 if you don’t already have one)
Energy Locals’ normal rates and feed-in-tariffs will apply when there are no available trading partners for your excess solar energy
Fixed energy transportation & regulated environmental charges will be added to all trades. These are standard costs that can’t be avoided until the energy market rules change
Traded energy is bought/sold at the same time – electricity cannot be stored and traded later
