Energy Expert – Sales and Customer Service

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for bright self-starters to join our team and provide amazing sales and service experience to our customers. It's a really exciting time to be part of our friendly, enthusiastic, high performing and supportive team in an industry that’s rapidly changing.

About you:

You don’t fancy ending up in a large company with a dull job. You love learning new things and can multi-task. Initially the role will be sales and customer service based, however, you’ll need to be an all-rounder that doesn’t mind helping in all aspects of retail, from sales and call centre to credit and back office. We are a start-up after all! 

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be at the forefront of our customer interaction. You will be answering customer enquiries, and inform them of our products and rates. You need to be enthusiastic about our product and services, so the customers can get enthusiastic about them too!
  • Strive to not only meet but exceed our team’s targets.
  • Process workflow items (customer activations, transfers, service orders, billing and credit/collections).

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in the retail energy industry is not essential but would be an advantage.
  • Have an urge to just get the job done, whatever it takes.
  • Have a strong desire to convert potential customers into successful sales.
  • Ability to communicate to customers and colleagues efficiently and clearly through both verbal and written form.
  • Possess strong computer skills and is quick and efficient at processing administrative tasks and taking initiative when problems arise.
  • Possess the skillset to be able to multi-task – for example we need staff to be able to take calls, chat to other customers via our website chat channel and be navigating through the system at the same time.

  • This position is full time and between Monday and Friday 8.30am to 7.00pm and you may be asked to work the occasional Saturday.
